The Dirt-Drop is a taller, shorter stem designed for early mountain-bike riders who wanted to use road handlebars and was introduced on the Bridgestone MB-1. Still a great stem today, especially for off-road drop-bar users, but works on all bikes where you want to sit more comfortably. The 80mm extension has a step machined at the top of the shaft.
