The Opinel N08 is the most popular and versatile size in the ever growing line of Opinel folding knives. This knife is small enough to be used as a pocket knife and its 3.25″ blade is capable for most all of your cutting needs. The handles are made of beechwood with a cyclist engraving and may expand and contract with extreme humidity (or lack of) and will temporarily affect the mechanism. The blade is made from 12C27 Sandvik Stainless steel, which will not rust, however try to avoid leaving your Opinel knife in damp environments for too long and dry the blade after each use.
