I spend a lot of time riding on shared pathways, passing pedestrians who meander all over the path, often with (noise cancelling) headphones on. Also quite a few elderly. So I wanted a bell that was loud enough to be heard by everyone, and which was also easy to ring. This bell ticks both boxes! In fact, it’s quite a bit louder than I was expecting, which is great. I now ring the bell from further back, so people have more warning of my approach. And if they don’t hear the first ring, I have time to ring again. (They always hear the close ring!) The bell is also very solid and seems well made. I’m sure I’ll own it for many years.
