Transform your road bike with wide, supple rubber! At just under 32 mm wide, the Stampede Pass is designed to fit many road bikes. We name our tires after the passes in the Cascade Mountains that inspire them: Stampede Pass is a small pass in the central Cascades. Climb the smooth gravel road, enjoy the great views from the top, then dive into the twisty descent with numerous hairpin turns. With the Stampede Pass tires, you can enjoy all-road performance on a road bike.
The Standard casing is our more affordable option: comfortable and fast, yet also strong to withstand considerable abuse. The Extralight casing takes the performance, comfort and feel of your bike to an entirely new level.
The Stampede Pass requires tubes.
The supple casing of our Rene Herse all-road tires rolls smoothly over surface irregularities. The tread pattern interlocks with the road surface for superior cornering grip, whether your roads are wet or dry. The tread has enough thickness in the center to last many miles, but it’s thin and supple on the shoulders where it doesn’t wear. All models feature:

- Actual width on 20 mm rim (internal): approx. 31 mm

Best tires I have ever used – not very long-wearing, but the feel of the bike is so good that it’s worth the price.

I used to run 700x28c Vittoria Corsa tyres and the more robust 700x32c Panaracer GK slicks on my road bike. I tried the RH Stampede Pass in the hope that they would be the best of both of those tyres – and they are!! Stampede Pass has all the easy-rolling sweetness of the Vittorias with a bit more puncture resistance and with the greater cushioning of the higher volume 32mm profile. Really amazing descending on twisty narrow roads with these, they grip like they’re on rails. I am super-delighted with them.
