Fork arrived promptly. Used to convert a steel hardtail mtb to monster bikepacking rig. Was close enough a/c to use instead of suspension corrected 26 inch fork. Handling is fine for my purposes, carries weight well and tracks nicely with many mounting points. Suits surly front racks, anything cages or through blade rack like Tubus Duo. May not be as suitable for someone looking for fully rigid mountbike handling. I’m not a Mountainbiker so it doesn’t bother me. Surly is an industry leader for this type of affordable multi-purpose product. Hardy and bombproof.

  2. Question

    Hi!

Would this fork accept v-brakes on a 26” wheel? Or need to go to disc brakes? Thanks!

Hi Ivan, unfortunately not. It used to come with canti mounts but no longer.
